I have always had an interest in economics and business and therefore chose to study at CBS, which is specialized in these areas and also recognized internationally for this. I chose to apply to IB because I wanted a programme with an international perspective and a motivating study environment with ambitious students.
One of the best things about studying International Business is the diversity as a lot of students are from different counties. This allows you to get more perspectives on the things we learn and gives you a broader and more complete understanding of International Business.
The quarter structure at IB gives you the possibility to go in depth with two courses at a time instead of four, but it also means that the programme is more intense.
I was positively surprised by how open and friendly the other students were, as I have heard a lot of prejudices about the people at IB. The reality is that we are all young people who loves to have fun together. Thus, we often have a lot of social events at IB such as IB Dinners and Burnouts after every exam period.
If there is something you don’t quite understand, don’t be afraid to ask your fellow students and new friends for help
Don’t stress to much about not being able to read everything
Remember to make time for friends, family, and yourself
